God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son.—John 3:16.

Jesus illustrated the depth of Jehovah’s fatherly care with the story of the son who was lost. (Luke 15:11-32) The father in that illustration never stopped hoping that his son would return. When the son made his way home, the father eagerly welcomed him back. If we have strayed from Jehovah but are repentant, we can be sure that our loving Father is ready and willing to welcome us back. Our Father will repair all the damage caused by Adam. After Adam’s rebellion, Jehovah purposed to adopt 144,000 individuals from among mankind who will serve as kings and priests in heaven with his Son. Jesus and those associate rulers will help obedient humans to come to perfection in the new world. After they pass a final test of obedience, God will grant them everlasting life. Our Father will then have the satisfaction of seeing the earth filled with his perfect sons and daughters. What a glorious time that will be! w20.02 6-7 ¶17-19

You can't walk with God while holding hands with the Devil.

Jehovah God could have sent any angel to the earth to redeem mankind from the sin but he chose his only begotten son that we may have the best recourse to be reconciled with Him. How magnanimous of Him to give us the best He had.

We in turn can reciprocate this undeserved kindness from Jehovah by always giving Him the best in all we do in connection with His will. As we approach Him in worship and service, we do our utmost to come into His presence with our mind and hearts fully prepared to take knowledge from our Grand Instructor.

My daily journal

I feel like the prodigal son in the illustration. I squandered all the gifts God has given me to become a better version of myself. Like a petulant child, I figuratively stamped my feet and refused to follow instructions. I ignored all the signs God put along the way and found myself lost in and impoverished  and can't find my way back. Only yesterday I started reading my Watchtower article which I had done for a long while now. There still a light at the end of a long dark tunnel? Today I think I clawed my way out of my rabbit hole. 🙂

Scientists have discovered that daydreaming is an important tool for creativity. It causes a rush of activity in a circuit, which connects different parts of the brain and allows the mind to make new associations.

Every time I see this verse I am reminded of an old wordly saying;

'When you care enough to send the very best'

Well, He did--

More than 60 years after it was first used, the slogan “When You Care Enough to Send the Very Best” has become one of the most enduring advertising slogans in history. Created from writings of C.E. (Ed) Goodman, a former Hallmark sales vice president, the statement is more than a slogan for Hallmark, it is a business commitment
